The Nautilus Resolution Feeder Method 6500S LD reel is a new, larger size and a specialist model in the Resolution feeder reel range. Developed around the Long Distance concept, it is intended for Method feeder fishing, powerful feeder rods, heavy rigs and playing large fish.
Key differences from the standard models in the series are a larger mechanism, an elongated Long Cast spool for maximum casting distance and a slow spool oscillation system. This produces even, parallel braid or line lay, reduces friction against the spool lip and helps increase casting distance.
The reel features a full X-Ship system, an additional handle knob bearing, a lightweight perforated spool and fast-acting Quick Drag. The low 4.4:1 gear ratio provides high winding power when using heavy feeders and playing large fish.
Two clips provide precise distance control: a metal clip with a plastic backing to reduce the risk of braid damage, and a rubber clip designed for the finest braid and line.
