Nautilus Black Rock Carp rods are a Nautilus carp rod series created at the request of competitive anglers for long casts and confident playing of large fish.
The powerful, stiff blanks have ample strength in reserve and feature lightweight KW anti-tangle guides. A 50 mm butt guide with a SiC insert allows line to flow freely and braided lines to be used effectively. The classic handle and reel seat layout, with an optimised length, is designed for powerful long-distance casting.
The series comes in two- and three-piece versions, in 12 and 13 ft lengths, with 3.5 lb and 3.75 lb test curves. The rods suit traditional and competitive carp fishing, heavy PVA sticks and bags, snag fishing with strong braid and taking rigs out to extreme distances.
Their rigidity and power also make Black Rock Carp rods effective in current, including conditions on the Volga and Akhtuba where heavy rigs are used. Each model comes with a convenient transport bag.
